Lieutenant Liu:

You know, since you're here, I think I've got a job for you concerning Bane Caretakers and their viral-weapons.

The Bane Caretakers have been wreaking havoc on our soldiers with their viral-weapons and, quite frankly, I've yet to find a suitable antidote to their infection. If I had some samples of their viral-weapon's core, then I might be able to make some headway. That's where you come in. Since you're out in the field killing Bane on a daily basis, I'm sure you'll run across a Caretaker or two. So, when you down them, search their weapons and extract its viral core - don't worry, it shouldn't affect you since the core is insulated.
