- It's good that you're here. My little squad here was sent to study the artifacts in the Eloh chamber just to the east of here. Unfortunately before we could figure out how to get past the door we got attacked by a Bane patrol that happened to come through the pass. Now the Bane have set permanent guards keeping us from getting inside.
- So we've been ordered to set up shop here to keep an eye on the Bane but there's not a whole lot we can do about them. I've only got a couple of soldiers and a few scientists. At best we could maybe take a [sic] out a few soldiers but we'll never be able to get inside before reinforcements arrive. Can you get inside the chamber and then translate any Eloh Obelisks or artifacts you find?
- If you have trouble gaining entrance to the chamber you might want to talk to the scientists I've got with me. They had a chance to glance at the symbols on the gateway.
