- "This is a delicate salvage operation, soldier. I need you to retrieve information from a downed scout ship - but keep it on the down low ..."
- "There's a group of us here that have been working on some special research lately. One of our scout pilots was inbound to the base with an important item related to that research when his ship was shot down. I need you to get out there and retrieve the salvage from that ship before anyone else gets to it. Got it? I'll go ahead and mark the last known location of the ship on your map."
- "Remember, keep quiet about this!"

Walkthrough
Your goal is a downed ship right out side the base. Head out the base and the ship is on fire and should be easly spotted but if you cant see it follow the arrow on your mini-map. Once there a few Thrax will land, so kill them and pick up the translator somewhere by the ship. Head back and get your award.
