Projects are coordinated efforts to handle specific aspects of the wiki, like missions or NPCs. Joining a project means working together with other people interested in the same parts you are, and gives better cooperation than discussion on random talk pages.

Starting a project Edit

To start a project, write up a section under "Suggested projects" describing your idea. If other people show interest, go ahead and create a page for it. Project pages should be on the form TaRapedia:<subject>_project, and should contain description of the overall project goals and a list of members. The rest is up to the project members.

Project dedicated to recording mission info and managing mission-related pages.

TaRapedia:Image project

Project dedicated to collecting, uploading and categorizing high-quality imagery for the wiki.

Suggested projects Edit

NPC project Edit

We could use a project dedicated to NPCs. There is connection to the mission project in mission contacts, and the economy project for vendor NPCs, but it would also random NPCs for completeness and in case they one day turn out to become important.

Economy project Edit

Record vendor locations (intersecting NPC project), which vendors sell what, perhaps look into military surplus. Other economic aspects are also within range.

Location project Edit

Ensure location names and info are available and stable. Important foundation for mission and NPC projects. Could also venture into describing instances and battlefields in detail.

Equipment project Edit

Armor, weapons, tools and their effects. Might record detailed damage/aborb values and more for items. Could extend into modifiers and crafting effects.

Character project Edit

Details on character progression, skills, abilities and interaction with available weapons and armor. Also covers advanced research on attribute effects.

Crafting project Edit

Everything crafting related.

Item Project Edit

We need a project dedicated to listing all the non-weapon, non-crafting, non-mission items. Junk, ingredients, medical supplies, non-ammo consumables (micromech), and such.

Officer Listing Project Edit

See the Thrax Soldier or Thrax Technician pages for examples of this. Basically a list of Officers and other Notable Personnel or groups thereof (such as Elite Guards in certain zones) as appropriate. Perhaps add a short blurb after each name showing the main associated mission and any notes (ie, "Required for Area Targets of Opportunity" Mission and so on) or warnings necessary.
