Shield Drone Edit

Shield Drones are occasionally dropped alongside groups of bane soldiers, to protect them from all damage when they are under the shield. The best way to defeat these is to use your EMP rifle or EMP pistol to shoot the shield bot.

According to a website containing "Tabula Rasa top 5 tips for assualting CPs" states that the sheild of a drone can protect you just like how they protect the bane.

HintsEdit

Shield Drones are very susceptible to EMP damage, always take our the shield drone before engaging the Bane it is protecting.

An EMP rifle at range is the weapon of choice as the shotgun variant wont actually damage any of the other units around the drone anyway.

Damage other than EMP shot from outside the shield bubble will be reflected back to the player.

Shield Drones can create a force field around Bane troops that protects them. Any non-bane organism within the field is drained of energy and if the Drone is attacked, it may emit an electrical shock to the aggressor.

Being a mechanized unit, EMP weapons are effective in disrupting a Drone’s systems and ultimately destroying them.

The amount of Shield Drones in a given area is contingent on the Bane presence in that area. A single shield drone can protect a small unit of 6-8 Bane troops.
