Overview
- Sgt Barrasso stationed inside the River-Base Krimm control point on Palisades wants you to go into the Warnet Caverns and collect material from Miasmas to build a scarecrow.

[edit] Briefing
- It seems like we've been under siege here at River-Base Krimm forever. The constant stress can really get to a man. I've been racking my brain to think of a way to scare off the Bane. Have you ever seen the Bane run from anything? I know I haven't. But it there's anything that might scare them it's those nightmare I've been hearing about inside of the Warnet Caverns.
- Those things have caused nightmares for almost everybody I know that's seen one and lived to talk about it. If I could just figure out how to turn that into a weapon against the Bane. I've been looking at data from what we know about the Miasma inside the caverns. You being a receptive should be able to resist their effects enough to kill one. I want you to go in there and collect the essence from several of the Miasma. We're going to make ourselves a scarecrow!
- And most importantly, if you can collect something substantial such as a big chunk of flesh. That would be a big help. It would have to come from the most powerful one you can find. I've marked the coordinates on your map where the strongest emanations were detected. Good hunting.

Walkthrough
The Miasma essence is dropped by Miasmas throughout the Warnet Caverns. The Pulsing Miasma Meat is dropped by a Boss Miasma Joahg up on a ledge from the mission waypoint indicator "Miasma Emanations" that appears along the path. Joahg hits hard, so keep your distance. It also has some sort of clone ability that will create a mini-Joahg. The Boss spawns at loc 141, 75, 120.
