Rage is an ability of the soldier class.
"Utilize command of Logos to increase the damage done by your attacks. The damage bonus is proportional to your Adrenaline. At higher training levels, creates a radius aura that imparts the same effect on nearby squad mates."

Usage Edit

The ability lasts 20 - 60 seconds, and is best used on larger crowds of mobs (for adrenaline regaining purposes), but also comes in very handy on tougher boss type mobs.

Rage makes a large difference in your damage, and if you use it frequently, it is best to do so in combination with a weapon which has the "steal adrenaline" bonus on it. When used in groups, due to it's AoE, this can turn a regular squad into a powerhouse.

RevampEdit

Due to a bug in the effect of Rage, it is slated for a reduction in damage.

When Rage went out, it went out with a large bug. If you look at the tooltip for the ability, it lists out a different buff than what is actually given out. Right now, the real damage bonus amount is 105% with the first pump alone. That was too much. As a team, we know what the “nerf bat” is, and we are very reluctant to swing it. However, what is currently active is a bug, and so we have to fix that bug. We understand that fixing it will greatly impact the way the game is played for many of our players. In order to mitigate some of the initial shock, we changed Rage in many good ways. It is a fast cast ability now. We added resistances to the ability at higher pumps.

The damage was initially reduced to 25%, but is now set to be only halved, along with giving resistance bonuses and having faster casting. The change was set to be carried out on November 26, 2007, then November 29, but is being pushed back approximately 2 weeks.
