Nucleotides

Nucleotides are a fabrication component. They come in five different grades and can be purchased from vendors or fabricated using a schematic. Players trained in Genetics can also use a Tissue Extractor to harvest Nucleotides from certain slain enemies.

Description from Wikipedia:

Nucleotides are organic compounds that consist of three joined structures: a nitrogenous base, a sugar, and a phosphate group. The most common nucleotides can be divided into two groups (purines and pyrimidines) based on the structure of the nitrogenous base. The joined sugar is either ribose or deoxyribose.

Fabrication

Higher grades of Nucleotides can be fabricated from the lower grades. The lowest grade, Pyramidine Nucleotides, cannot be fabricated and must be either purchased or harvested. Fabrication requires the use of schematics found on slain enemies. Each schematic is single-use and will produce 100 Nucleotides of the specified grade.
