Prestige
Talk0this wiki

Prestige is a form of currency which rewards soldiers for special actions in the line of duty. Prestige can be gained through the following actions:
- Looting Experimental and Prototype items from enemy corpses
- Defeating mini-bosses
- Defeating Bane troops at control points
- Achieving maximum kill streak
- Completing specific missions with Prestige reward.
Soldiers can spend Prestige on certain valuable and unique items at Prestige Vendors or Grey market vendors.
Prestige can be viewed by opening the Prestige pane (default key 'I') or clicking the Prestige tab in the character window. The Prestige pane displays your total Prestige gained as well as Prestige earned during the current session.
Prestige can be deposited into clan lockboxes where it is stored as the clan's collective Prestige. Prestige cannot be withdrawn once deposited.

Token Replacement
Edit
Prestige replaced Control Point assault and defense Tokens as of Deployment 8. There is a token banker next to every Prestige Vendor that will allow soldiers to convert existing assault and defense tokens into Prestige.
Item Wagering
Edit
Soldiers can wager items for increased Prestige gain in combat actions. Wagering items will provide a bonus to Prestige gained for fighting control point minions and bosses, fighting mini-bosses and fighting other players.
Items can be wagered by placing them in the wagered slot of the Prestige pane. Items wagered must be within ±4 levels of your character and must be of a high quality level. Bonus percentage per quality level is as follows:
- Modified (Green) items - 20% bonus to Prestige
- Experimental (Blue) items - 35% bonus to Prestige
- Prototype (Purple) items - 50% bonus to Prestige
Once wagered, an item becomes locked as soon as you go into combat. This item cannot be removed/swapped out unless you level out of the item, swap in an item of a higher level, or swap in an item of a higher quality level. Wagered items will be lost to your opponent if you are killed.
PvP Prestige
Edit
PvP Prestige can be gained through clan wargames only. There are two ways of gaining PvP Prestige: stolen Prestige and generated Prestige.
Stolen Prestige
Edit
The winning player will earn a percentage of their opponent's Prestige based on a 10 level relationship to the opponent. Outside of this level range, only a percentage is given based on level difference.
Generated Prestige
Edit
The winning player will earn a generated amount of Prestige for killing their opponent. This Prestige is scaled based on a 10 level relationship to the opponent. Outside of this level range, only a percentage is given based on level difference.
Generated Prestige is not provided for killing the same player within a fixed period of time.
