Overview
Locate the Surveillance Camera Hub at the bottom of Desolation Quarry and retrieve the Bane Datablade from the central console. Bring the Datablade to Science Officer Clark at Wedge Rock Outpost for analysis.

Dialogue
[edit] Briefing
- I need you to steal the surveillance footage from the security system at Desolation Quarry. We need to know what those bastards are up to!
- Desolation Quarry is a big hole in the ground on the southeastern plateau. The Foreans mined stone building materials there back in the day, but now it's been taken over by Thrax troops. They're using it as some kind of prison facility.
- Intel is reporting some strange power signatures coming from the area and I need you to investigate. The Thrax have security cameras hovering all around the perimeter. I'm thinking, if we can get ahold of that surveillance footage, we'll have a pretty good idea of what's going on there.
- I want you to infiltrate the area, destroy the cameras and retrieve the Surveillance Data from each of them. Once you've got all five, take them to Science Officer Clark for analysis. You'll find him in the research tent next door.

- I understand that you've acquired some Surveillance Data Disks from Desolation Quarry. If you'd allow me to take possession of them, I can most certainly determine their content.

Walkthrough
The surveillance bots are randomly patrolling different levels of Desolation Quarry. When they're outside of your draw distance, look for the small white dot indicating an elite mob. Each bot is numbered according to the Data Disk they drop, so you should work your way down the spiral to the quarry gradually picking them up as you go.
Once the bots see you, they usually call in a big group of Thrax who can really bust you up depending on your class. If you take a Medic with you, you should make short work of them, but it might be tough to solo as some classes.
Note: Surveillance Bot One is outside the red forcefield entrance to the quarry.
