The Phanin Research Facility is an Instance that is located in the Plains area of Torden on Arieki. More specifically, it is in the basement of the central building in Irendas Penal Colony, below the medical and dormitory facilities.

Master Phanin is a leading Brann who has sealed himself into the facility, causing rumors to spread that he may have changes planned for the Brann race, or that he and his followers maybe working on something sinister.

NOTE 1: This facility is sealed until you complete the key missions:

Unexpected Guests (part of the Kardash Atta Colony instance missions)
Key Information (the follow-up to "Unexpected Guests")

NOTE 2: Completing the mission Bug Hunt / Bug Hugger in Kardash Atta Colony before going to Phanin Research Facility will save you the trouble going through it a second time for the mission Do Bugs Feel Fear? / Do Bugs Have Feelings?.

The Phanin Research Facility is a Brann operated scientific center. Since it was seized by the renegade Researcher Phanin, its doors have remained sealed and a large number of power spikes have been noted by the AFS. Phanin and the facility are currently being investigated by AFS intelligence officers.
