- Welcome to Icarus Outpost. Enjoy the open air while you can. This shelf is the only place on the entire subcontinent that's above ground.
- You'll want to report to General Perry. He's the senior officer here in the Abyss. You'll find him at Tantalus Base. I'll radio ahead and let him know you're on your way.

- The subcontinent of Abyss is almost entirely underground, but it's still a really big place. Don't get lost in the tunnels. It's dangerous as hell outside Tantalus Base.
- The base is a support facility, mostly, but it also houses Penumbra HQ. Thats the big black building in the back, with the eclipse hologram on it. Penumbra's the AFS black ops division. Highly classified. Hell, I'm a General and I don't even know half of what goes on inside there.
