"To keep the Miasmas under control, we need to hunt down the female egg-layers."

"The female Miasmas are the real problem. They're bigger and meaner, and they can drop hundreds of eggs. Luckily, females are rare and their fertility cycle only comes around every few months. If we can take them out, the rest of the population should die off pretty quickly."

"We could really use your help. Clear out as many Miasmas as you can, but be sure to exterminate the egg-layers. I figure five ought to do it. That'll cut back the population until the next breeding cycle. What do you say?"
