Lasher do a powerful melee attack.They don't do virulent dmg (as mentioned in playtr.com), but they are supposed to have a viral neurotoxin (involved in some quests).
When threatened, Lashers will hiss and snarl to scare away their prey. If this fails, they will use their tentacles and a small reserve of toxin to paralyze their victims so they can run off.
Lasher tentacles are the only unprotected part of their body and attacks will do little damage to a Lasher that does not have its tentacles unfurled. Fire attacks are useful when a Lasher has its tentacles out.
Lashers can be found throughout Arieki, but prefer rocky outposts where they can nest and find hiding places if necessary. They are the great scavengers of the deserts, feeding on any available sustenance.
