Captain LaFontaine stationed at the River Base Krimm control point on Palisades wants you to disarm the Bane Bio-Bomb inside of the Warnet Caverns.

Headquarters:

We've decoded the orders for the Lightbenders! Now listen carefully. The Bane sent in the Lightbenders to plant some sort of bio-weapon. The purpose of the weapon is to infect the entire Warnet colony with a virus. The hope is that the enraged Warnets will end up infecting all of us as they overrun our position.
You must find and deactivate the Bio-Bomb! The entire region depends on it!

You're well on your way to making a name for yourself among my soldiers. If that Bio-Bomb had gone off we would have had an epidemic on our hands. I salute you.

The Bio-Bomb is clearly marked on the minimap by a mission waypoint indicator at loc 163, 33, 299 (Map: 163, 86).

Once disabled, this mission is complete to be turned in with Captain LaFontaine at River-base Krimm.
