Overview
Agent Earhardt [sic] has instructed you to go into the Magma Caverns and find the renegade science team led by the former Captain Stalyard. Once you have made contact, you are instructed to bring them back for court martial, or execute them if they resist.

- Go to Magma Caverns and bring back the renegades for court martial. If they resist, then you have the authority to execute them as traitors.
- See, one of our top research teams has gone AWOL, and they've taken some classified research with them. Intelligence has discovered them building defenses in the nearby cavern system we call Magma Caverns. There's also evidence of Thrax hiding in those caverns, giving us reason to believe that Mr. Staylard and his associates may be selling information to our enemies.
- As for any Thrax you discover, neutralize them as you would any other Crustie.

- So you were sent by The Director himself, eh? Another mindless fool following orders.
- Before you commence with this mockery of justice, think about what you've seen here. Toby is proof of that. Both of us know that Penumbra is lying to you; lying to everyone. Captain Salyard and I are not in league with the Bane, but we can not stand behind The Director's draconian methods anymore. We mean no harm to anyone. Let us go; we will leave this hell hole soon, and we will fight this fight with our morals intact.
I'm also opposed to Penumbra's methods. I'm sure you have your reasons.

- Superb work, soldier. I'm glad to see an you act in the best interest of humanity. The AFS needs more loyal and disciplined soldiers such as yourself.
