Dialogue
[edit] Briefing
- The dead AFS scientist slumps over with what looks like a medical data disc firmly in his grip.
- You take the data disc and examine its contents. There seems to be a formula for an antidote that could possibly cure the Foreans suffering from the Bane Infection. In addition, there is a quick blurp about Field Commander Welling possibly being a member of Penumbra and Penumbra's desire to withhold the Infection cure.
[edit] Choices
- This dead AFS scientist is clinging to a medical data disc. Upon closer examination, the disc contains information on a potential cure for the Bane Infection that is afflicting the Foreans and the creatures in Howling Maw. The disc also implicated Field Commander Welling as a possible member of Penumbra.
Take the disc and turn it in to Colonel Sherk, thus disobeying Field Commander Welling's orders to make sure the bombs destroy EVERYTHING within the Forean tents in Dia Moroyo.
Leave the disc and carry out Field Commander Welling's orders to make sure the bombs destroy EVERYTHING within the Forean tents in Dia Moroyo.
[edit] Debriefing
- Leave the body.

Walkthrough
Interact with the dead body again and decide whether or not to take the data disc. If you take the disc, you will fail Surgical Strike, and you will have to interact with the body again to complete the quest. You will immediately get a new quest to take the disc to Colonel Sherk. If you choose to destroy it with everything else, you will fail the mission but may continue Surgical Strike.
