The Guardian is a tier 4 character class, specialized in melee combat and defense.

Description from the official website:

"This military tactician concentrates his efforts on close combat and territory control. Once a Guardian digs in, it takes overwhelming force to displace him, holding the line at all costs and punishing those foolish enough to try and unseat them.

Guardians learn to support and protect entire squads. This makes Guardians the backbone of large squad attacks; a mix of medical Specialists, a Guardian, and various attack troops makes a potent combination for almost any situation."
