Fabrication component

Fabrication components are components used in fabrication. These components (apart from two basic items) can themselves be created through fabrication. All Fabrication components can be bought from crafting vendors, in addition to other methods of obtaining them.

While Pharmaceuticals are also used as components when creating Med Packs, these are classified primarily as ammunition, not components.

[edit] Nucleotides

Main article: Nucleotides

"Nucleotides are organic compounds that consist of three joined structures: a nitrogenous base, a sugar, and a phosphate group. The most common nucleotides can be divided into two groups (purines and pyrimidines) based on the structure of the nitrogenous base. The joined sugar is either ribose or deoxyribose."

Second level and higher Nucleotides can be created from lower level Nucleotides. Characters with training in Genetics can also harvest them on the battlefield using Tissue Extractors.

[edit] Mechanical/Electrical Components

"The Mechanical/Electrical component group describes components that are either mechanical or electrical in nature and are constructed out of scrap metal."

Second level and higher Mechanical/Electrical Components can be created from lower level Mechanical/Electrical Components. Characters trained in Photonics can also harvest them on the battlefield using Salvage Tools.

"Micromech are significantly larger than the nanite or "nanobot" electronics they are commonly identified with (nanites being microscopic, micromech often being quite visible, even in small quantities), meaning they may be a predecessor to, or derivative of, nanite technology."

Micromech can be created from same level Nucleotides and Mechanical/Electrical Components, combined with lower level Micromech.

5. Medical Grade Micromech

Crafting of fabrication components has no skill requirements, and the level requirement is always level 1. The following image summarizes the dependencies between components:

In addition to higher grades of themselves, the following items can be fabricated using Fabrication components:

1. Ammunition
2. Grenades
3. Med Packs

In addition, some Fabrication components are consumed when certain Logos abilities are activated.
