Micromech

Micromech are a type of fabrication component. They come in five different grades and can be purchased from vendors or fabricated using a schematic.

Description:

Micromech are significantly larger than the nanite or "nanobot" electronics they are commonly identified with (nanites being microscopic, micromech often being quite visible, even in small quantities), meaning they may be a predecessor to, or derivative of, nanite technology.

[edit] Fabrication

Higher grades of Micromech can be fabricated from the lower grades of Micromech, combined with specific grades of Nucleotides and Mechanical/Electrical Components. The lowest grade, Spore Micromech, can be fabricated from just Scrap Metal and Pyramidine Nucleotides. Fabrication requires the use of schematics found on slain enemies. Each schematic is single-use and will produce 100 Micromech of the specified grade.

Micromech are used in the fabrication of ammunition, grenades, Med Packs and higher grades of Micromech. They are also consumed when activating certain Logos abilities. See the individual articles for more information on their fabrication requirements and the effects of these abilities.
