List of bugs Edit

Extension:DynamicPageList (DPL), version 2.3.0 : Warning: 'debug=2' is not in first position in the DPL element. The new debug settings are not applied before all previous parameters have been parsed and checked.

  • A Means to an End
    • The door to the southern section is difficult to open. Approach the door and target the switch from the side.
  • Break on Through
    • If you run into a barracks after placing the detonator, you will be trapped.
  • Can You Handle It?
    • Destroying the backup flight recorder completes *both* objectives, allowing you to hand in the mission at either Gaston or Cockerell. This then activates both follow-up missions.
  • Canyon Sweep
    • The NPC's name is Carvelle but the missions spell his name as Carville.
  • Chain Reaction
  • Chambers of Horror
    • The mission says to destroy 15 chambers, but 20 are required.
  • Control the Brain
    • NPC will not proceed into the Brain Room, so camp-on mission's won't complete or move on.

Edit: I redid this 4 times and finally got it done. I had to quit runmode and walk slowly all the way. Stop just inside the room. wait (while bots attack you) for an silly update:"Your here"..wait...stay alive..."mish: kill the bots"..Kill them, stay alive...wait....wait...mish update: "Talk to Brian". Sigh... Got it done though. if you kill the overagressive bots BEFORE you enter the brain-room the mish WILL fail. June 9.th 2008

Note: Bug is still there at this time. NPC still will not go all the way into room. He just stands at the outer edge and won't go near the brain. Moosaman 13:45, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

  • Crucible Targets of Opportunity
    • There is a bug that some players experience, keeping them from getting credit for getting to all the waypoints
  • Dirty Secrets
  • Do Bugs Feel Fear?
    • The control station in the room with Head Researcher may not complete its objective. This was still true as of December 1, 2007.
  • Explosive Reinforcements
    • Do not activate the Generator Control Panel prior to beginning this mission. If you do, you will need to reset the instance.
  • Flanks for Nothing
    • You may have to run all the way back to the instance entrance to get the follow-up radio mission.
  • Flaregasher Genocide
    • The Flaregasher kills do not count if you do not kill them as soon as you get the mission. Completing other objectives first will prevent them from counting
    • The flares cannot be placed at the indicated spots.
  • Fried Atta
    • If you enter the instance and John doesn't have the mission icon over his head, leave the instance and then re-enter the instance again. This happened to me, and upon re-entry of the zone, the mission icon re-appeared over his head and I was able to complete the mission.
  • Gotta Get Out of this Place
    • If you're in a group and one player completes this mission by talking to Prisoner Balka, he and the rest of the prisoners will run off without allowing the other members of the group to complete it. The mission stays completed in your log so after the instance has reset you can hand it in by fighting your way straight back to Prisoner Balka.
  • Helping Parsons
    • The second objective may not complete when you pick up the boxes. If so, try leaving and returning, or picking up a second set of boxes, or just waiting.
    • The mission does not show markers to indicate the locations of Lt. Gerry or Private Parsons, but they can be found at Mires Post and Plains Post respectively.
  • Hostile Overtaking
    • You may have to run all the way back to the instance entrance to get the radio transmission.
    • It says you need to destroy the computers, but you dont have to do this. You only need to kill the overseer.
  • Incline Targets of Opportunity
    • The completion text talks about Torden Plains, but the mission is on Incline.
  • Incommunicado
    • The mission refers to Carville, but the actual NPC is called Carvelle
  • Infection Connection
  • Infiltrate Infesus Garrison
    • The mission name and contents incorrectly refer to 'Infensus Garrison' as 'Infesus Garrison'.
    • The Bomb is placed in the miscellaneous tab instead of the mission tab.
    • The generator needs to reset after every detonation requiring you to wait possibly minutes to place the bomb.
  • Lava Beast
    • If you kill Ember before the update of the objective (could happen if you don't come close enough, especially with ranged weapons, or if you bait them out), you will not be able to complete the mission. So don't forget to enter inside the lair, until the objective is updated, before killing bosses.
  • Leaky Pipes
    • Both of the sub-wing bosses, as well as the warden bot boss, drop keys that can only be looted by the player that landed the killing blow. If an engineer turret or ranger reinforcement kills the boss, the key will not drop and the instance must be reset. Additionally, the keys disappear once used on the appropriate door.
    • If the key was not dropped for you then the door will remain closed but you can walk through the closed door. Enemies as well as reinforcements cannot pass through it but players can.
    • If you die within the area through the passable-closed door and die on the inside, then the door will solidify making a second "wall hack" impossible.
  • Little Bit Crazy...
    • All objectives in this mission are universal. This means that even if you aren't actually in Mires, you will still get credited for killing mission targets.
  • Long Live the Queen
    • This mission is erratic at best, several aspects are broken. When you go to the queen at the mission marker the mission does not update. If you kill all the hostile Atta in the chamber, then it updates. The Brann do not appear until you go to the west exit, and they are very weak. Basically, you have to kill everything everywhere for this mission to end, and there is no option to help the Brann unless perhaps you kill the queen before triggering their presence.
    • If you enter the queens chamber and trigger the Brann/Atta spawn before taking this mission, the instance has been known to bug, and prevent you from completing the final stage.
    • Explosives Specialist John does not show up on the map after you complete this mission, and if you take the wrong way out of the chamber, you probably won't find him at all. He is at the north tunnel out of the Queen's room, 252.6, -58.0.
  • Lost in the Asylum
    • Both of the sub-wing bosses, as well as the warden bot boss, drop keys that can only be looted by the player that landed the killing blow. If an engineer turret or ranger reinforcement kills the boss, the key will not drop and the instance must be reset. Additionally, the keys disappear once used on the appropriate door.
  • Making Your Way
    • Sgt.Ricardo may not give you any thing, and the mission cannot be completed regardless what type of reward you choose. Abandon this mission and redo it may help.
  • Making a Run For It
    • Once you complete the mission you will need to talk to the Brann prisoners in order to receive your reward. This is not immediately obvious as the prisoners still have the orange "following" symbol over their heads rather than the mission indicator icon. And nothing in the mission description tells you to talk to them. If you leave the instance before collecting your reward it will fail and be removed from your mission log. If this happens and you are in a squad and the squad member who initiated the mission has not yet left the instance you may be able to restart the mission by going straight back to the Flight Control Room.
  • Medical Alert Badge
    • The badge drops seemingly anywhere when it should only drop off Researcher Amuaggor in Treeback Camp. A rare 'easier than it should be' bug.
  • Mires Targets of Opportunity
    • As of the January 2008 patch, Casso Weapons Facility does not give credit. As of February (same patch), some people report getting credit, but not everyone.
    • You may have to logoff and then logon to get the missions to take.
  • TaRapedia:Mission project/Mission page layout/Example
    • This is a bug concerning this mission
  • Mortar Madness
    • The briefing section of the mission summary in the player mission log is inaccurate. (Technically the mortars to be destroyed are to the east of Far West Watch, although the description is of little help.
  • Mox Clearing
    • As of the December 11 2007 patch, No credit is given for killing any Mox.
  • Operation: Cauterize
    • Relay Terrorist Info to Colonel Deiley is where he's supposed to be the info, but this mission actually becomes available before completing it. Unknown exactly which previous mission unlocks it.
    • This is an ethical dilemma, but the dilemma is missing from the mission! When you complete it, you may be reprimanded for rescuing prisoners you weren't able to interact with at all.
  • Overly Sensitive
    • If you destroy the Thrax in the stasis tube before getting "The Secret Experiment" part of the mission (once you have all the items etc), its destruction will not be logged and the mission cannot be completed without resetting the instance.
  • Palisades Targets of Opportunity
    • You will have to kill some of the bosses twice, they do not always count the first time, or when killed as part of another mission.
    • Due to a change in one of the missions in the warnet caverns in the last update, if you completed the operation but not the ToO you lose credit for the caverns and must go back and do the first mission over again.
    • Many people report not being able to complete this objective, even after completing every known mission both inside and outside instance. Returning to Eloh Vale via the access quest after completing may help. Also, remember to check that you've done Bloody Booty -- this mission only becomes available when AFS is in control of River-base Krimm.
    • If you finish the Warnet Caverns instance without doing the mission Create the Queen Lure and the follow up mission Kill the Queen, you won't complete this objective. Apparently this is story-related.
    • The objective says "Master of Palisades", but the actual title awarded is "Palisades Veteran".
  • Pincer Power
    • Contact ignores you and you are unable to complete the mission.
  • Pump Up The Jam
    • It says in the briefing and dialogue that you should take out eight, when there are in fact only six in the objectives.
  • Radio Free Arieki
    • Commander Ryder talks about himself in the third person. Most likely he's not supposed to be the reward giver.
    • If you do this instance again, the mission will be bugged.
  • Rehabilitation at Gunpoint
    • Both of the sub-wing bosses, as well as the warden bot boss, drop keys that can only be looted by the player that landed the killing blow. If a pet (turret, reinforcement, clone, reanimated corpse, etc) kills the boss, the key will not drop and the instance must be reset. Additionally, the keys disappear once used on the appropriate door. To reset an instance, players must remain outside for at least 8 full minutes.
  • Relay Terrorist Info to Colonel Deiley
    • Operation: Cauterize actually becomes available before completing this mission. Unknown exactly which previous mission unlocks it.
  • Reset the Research Stations
    • Due to a change in this mission in the last update, if you completed the warnet caverns operation but not the ToO you loose credit for the caverns and must go back and do this mission over again.
  • Restraining Order
    • Restraining Order mission complete

Captain Gaston, who is that?

The mission is given by Colonel Li Hua of Fort Condor (sometimes called Outpost Condor depending who you are talking to or what map/waypoint you are looking at).

  • Rock and Rumble
    • The mission incorrectly refers to 'Infensus Garrison' as 'Infesus Garrison'.
    • Sometimes only four Disturbed Thrax will spawn. Your only hope is to wait for others to do the quest, join with them, and get your remaining kills when they summon more Thrax.
    • The Rock Sample is placed in the miscellaneous tab instead of the mission tab.
  • Subversion
    • Complete it all and it says complete in the tracker. Except in the log it says 'add random inventory item' and you cant turn the mission in which means no ToO completion either. It seems its a known issue
  • Supporting Your Local Strike Team
    • If you do not quickly accept the radio mission for Supporting Your Local Strike Team, the NPCs will run off to their deaths causing the mission, when accepted, to instantly fail. You must return to Twitty to restart.
  • Survey Says (Mires)
    • This mission is known to fail to complete. It will be marked as complete in your log, but when you try to turn it in the mission window repeatedly comes back up. The only solution is to abandon the mission and do it over again. Fortunately since it's a delivery mission and you can use the teleporters it's not that bad.
  • Take Better Care
    • The mission is currently broken. The medical cannisters do not spawn, and thus Deddarlik does not show up. This also causes multiple Mires ToO objectives to be incomplete.
  • Temple of the Raging Patriarch
    • On the first and second mission, many of the mobs will ignore players that enter after the mission starts.
  • Testing the Pools
    • In overview Jaysen Venma, but NPC name is Jayson
  • The Infesus Garrison Directive
    • The mission name is spelled incorrectly. The location is 'Infensus Garrison' while the mission (and its name) refer to it as 'Infesus Garrison'.
  • The Truth About Tahrendra
    • There is a bug that may force the necklace to load into the armor section of the player's backpack. Be certain to have a slot free there as a precaution.
    • Tran is incorrectly listed by the mission as being in Outpost Condor.
  • The skeletons in your closet
    • This objective completes by going to the Weapons Shop.
  • There's A Hominus Among Us
    • Kills usually do not count towards the mission goal if NPCs attack them first (even though they do almost no damage), you may need to kill each officer and the machina several times over to get credit due to villager interference. This further complicates the mission completion from the notes above.
  • Thunderhead Targets of Opportunity
    • The objectives may not display even if complete. It's possible to complete the mission with only 13 objectives shown and satisfied.
  • Tootin' One's Horn
    • Abandoning the quest after picking one of the options will make the quest uncompletable. Colonel Sherk will not give the Mission Complete dialogue after selecting an option.
  • Trick and Mortar
    • The Tech Codes are looted into the bag's Miscellaneous tab rather than the Mission tab.
  • Under the Radar - Part II
    • It is not necessary to gather the black box for Under the Radar or turn it in order to receive the Under the Radar - Part II mission.
