Base

A base is a location within a zone with fortified structures, typically defensive walls, surrounding it. They will typically also have mortars or turrets as well as guards.

Bases may be under the permanent control of a certain faction, or may be a control point.

This differs from an outpost in that outposts have less or few defensive measures and aren't used as control points.
