Ashen Desert is a battlefield zone located on the continent Ligo of planet Arieki.

Ashen Desert is surrounded by active volcanoes, leaving the region covered with volcanic ash. The AFS conducts its operations from Shadow's Edge Post, where they launch attacks against the Bane Conscription Facility. Avernus Outpost, another AFS installation, was overrun by Atta, and communication with those AFS soldiers was lost.

The Brann have set up settlement here at Ashoka, where they work to repair the water harvesters to the north. They also seem to have an interest in an Eloh vessel that crashed at Deadalus' Landing, but there is little AFS intel about it.
