- Bloody Beam Mantas! I'll never complete my research at this rate!
- I'm with the AFS Xeno-Archaeological Research division. I've been conducting research on two Eloh obelisks at the far end of the shelf. I've been trying to decypher the Logos symbols inscribed on them in an attempt to ascertain their function. Trouble is, there's a bloody huge Beam Manta over by the obelisks. The men have nicknamed her "Mustang Sally", but I don't find her endearing in the least! Every time I approach, she drives me off!
- Kill the beast, and I'll reward you for your efforts, I promise you!

- It's fascinating. Those two obelisks are inscribed with Logos symbols. The first seems to translate as either "believe" or "faith," and the second might be "jump" or "leap." The inscriptions are merely symbols, not the actual Logos elements themselves. Perhaps the Logos elements exist someplace else on the continent. It really is a mystery!
